Meet The Owners

Welcome to our Beautiful Beast Community! We’re Lex and Jade, both born and raised in sunny California! We are a married, groovy, animal loving couple residing in South Austin. We both have worked in the pet industry and decided it was time to embark on our journey as entrepreneurs. We brought both of our passions together and created Beautiful Beast!

Lex has been a dog groomer for the past 16 years. Over the years she has worked at many different salons and acquired different skills and techniques for all breeds. Her style of grooming is gentle and inclusive. Her calm demeanor can soothe the most anxious of pups and she easily adapts to different furry friends’ personalities and quirks. After working in the pet industry for other salons, it was important to Lex to create a safe and soothing environment where she could offer that 1:1, kennel free experience for all breeds.

Jade has been working in the pet industry since 2015. She started working for a pet store and became enlightened with the truth of the pet food industry. From there her passion for biologically appropriate diets for our furry friends snowballed. One thing led to another, and she ended up working as the ‘Nutrition Specialist and New Patient Consultant’ for a very well-known Integrative veterinarian in Los Angeles for almost four years. After some time, Jade stepped away from the pet industry to focus on her health and other passion projects which ultimately led her back to entrepreneurship and her love for our four-legged babies.

Lex and Jade have poured so much love and energy into Beautiful Beast, merging all their musts to bring their luxury mobile dog grooming van to life. Their number one goal is to Bring the Beauty out of your Beast by offering a holistic, sustainable, and eco-friendly experience to the greater Austin area.
